
Tour Overview
The K2 Base Camp trek is one of the most challenging and rewarding treks in the world. Starting from Skardu, this expedition takes you through the heart of the Karakoram Range, across the Baltoro Glacier, and to the base of K2, the world's second-highest mountain. Along the way, you'll witness some of the most spectacular mountain scenery on Earth, including views of Broad Peak, Gasherbrum, and other towering peaks. This trek is physically demanding and requires good fitness, but the rewards are immeasurable.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Islamabad
Arrive in Islamabad. Meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. Briefing about the trek.
Day 2: Fly to Skardu
Early morning flight to Skardu. If weather doesn't permit, drive via Karakoram Highway.
Day 3: Preparation Day in Skardu
Final preparations, equipment check, and briefing. Visit local markets and sights.
Day 4: Drive to Askole
Jeep ride to Askole, the last village before the trek begins.
Day 5: Trek to Jhola
Begin trek along the Braldu River to Jhola camp.
Day 6: Trek to Paiju
Continue to Paiju, the gateway to the Baltoro Glacier.
Day 7: Rest Day at Paiju
Acclimatization day at Paiju. Short hikes around camp.
Day 8: Trek to Urdukas
Trek onto the Baltoro Glacier to Urdukas camp.
Day 9: Trek to Goro II
Continue up the glacier to Goro II camp.
Day 10: Trek to Concordia
Trek to Concordia, the meeting point of multiple glaciers with views of K2.
Day 11: Trek to K2 Base Camp
Day trip to K2 Base Camp and return to Concordia.
Day 12: Trek to Broad Peak Base Camp
Optional visit to Broad Peak Base Camp. Rest at Concordia.
Day 13: Trek to Goro II
Begin return journey, trek to Goro II.
Day 14: Trek to Paiju
Continue descent to Paiju camp.
Day 15: Trek to Askole
Final day of trekking to Askole village.
Day 16: Return to Skardu and Fly to Islamabad
Drive to Skardu and fly back to Islamabad. Farewell dinner.
