Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Skardu

Arrive in Skardu by flight from Islamabad (weather permitting) or by road. Transfer to hotel and orientation.

Day 2: Shangrila Resort and Lower Kachura Lake

Visit the famous Shangrila Resort and Lower Kachura Lake. Explore the surrounding area and enjoy a boat ride on the lake.

Day 3: Upper Kachura Lake and Buddha Rock

Visit the pristine Upper Kachura Lake for swimming and picnic. Afternoon visit to ancient Buddha Rock Carvings.

Day 4: Shigar Valley and Fort

Full day excursion to Shigar Valley. Visit the restored 400-year-old Shigar Fort and explore traditional Balti villages.

Day 5: Khaplu Palace and Village

Day trip to Khaplu to visit the restored Khaplu Palace. Explore the surrounding villages and experience local culture.

Day 6: Departure from Skardu

Transfer to Skardu airport for flight to Islamabad or begin return journey by road.
